## The use case: how The Chosunilbo deploys Upstage

Chosun Ilbo built an automated pipeline on Solar Pro that translates Korean news articles into English. It segments articles into structured fields, enforces a glossary, translates the whole article in one pass, and generates natural English headlines.

Summary written by usedby from the source page, in English. The figures are those of Upstage and The Chosunilbo, not ours.

> Without hiring additional staff, Chosun Ilbo can now publish English versions of a vastly larger share of its Korean articles.

> Our collaboration with Upstage has become a major turning point in Chosun Ilbo’s global news service strategy. Compared to AI models from global big tech companies, Solar clearly demonstrated the strongest capability in understanding Korean. We look forward to continuing the leadership we have built together in translation-AI technology.
