A gynaecology clinic within Aleris uses Tandem's Coding Assistant, which reads clinical notes as they are written and suggests diagnosis and procedure codes that doctors review and confirm. It was piloted to make coding complete during the consultation rather than corrected afterwards by a coding controller.
